The meeting was to discuss the upcoming project on healthcare for the
elderly at Can Tho City with the support from experts of Vietnam – Dordogne Health Association,
France.
Attendance on the side of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy
were Assoc. Prof. TRAN Do Hung, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Technology,
Ms. NGO Thị Dung, lecturer of the Faculty of Nursing and Medical Technology; Dr.
NGUYEN Long Quoc, lecturer of the
Faculty of Medicine; Dr. NGUYEN
Thang and Ms. NGUYEN Thi Nhu Trang from Scientific Research and International
Cooperation Office.
On the side of Vietnam – Dordogne Health Association, France, Dr. Bruno THUS
would be representing their attendance.
The purpose of the discussion was to set up a project on geriatric care at the Hospital of Can Tho University
of Medicine and Pharmacy. Dr. Bruno Thus also visited the University’s Hospital.
On March 6th 2019, Dr. Bruno Thus gave lecture to undergraduate and
postgraduate students about geriatric care and the management and organization of hospitals in France.
Doctors and Nurses of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy
with the
interest in geriatric care have opportunities to participate in the project.
