The workshop welcomed speakers: Assoc.Prof. NGUYEN Thi Ngoc Van – Head of Scientific
Research and International Cooperation Office, Dr. LE Huu Phuoc – Lecturer of Faculty of Basic Sciences, Dr. NGUYEN Tan Dat – Vice-Head of
Undergraduate Training Office, Dr. DO Thi Thao and Dr. NGUYEN Thang along with 180
delegates are postgraduate students who studying at Can Tho University of
Medicine and Pharmacy.
On the day of the workshop, the reporters
introduced the contents to the participants including: the "Can Tho Journal
of Medicine and Pharmacy"; how to write and
publish an article in Vietnamese; numerous
methods of finding materials and how to write a English
medicine-pharmacy article as well as the ways to submit in health science
journals; useful information about supporting, searching
and quoting tools; methods of replying critical responses and some common
mistakes in publication of international articles. In particular, the workshop
prepared many exercises for practice and spent a lot of time for delegates to
discuss, ask questions and contribute ideas.
The workshop achieved the goal of introducing,
sharing and actively supporting postgraduate students in researching and publishing articles
both in Vietnamese and English in suitable journals. That also contributed a
great promotion to scientific researching movement among all students at the
university.
