1. GETTING TO CAN THO

F FROM HO CHI MINH CITY (HCMC):

Can Tho city is about 170 km southwest from Ho Chi Minh city. The best way to get to Can Tho is by bus or taxi.

* BUS:

- The cheapest way to get to Can Tho city from HCMC (ticket price: VND 120.000-200.000 VND ~ USD 5-8). It takes 3 to 3 hours and 30 minutes to travel from HCMC to Can tho city by bus. There are many buses a day, normally every 30 minutes to 1 hour.

F FROM HA NOI CAPITAL:

Ha Noi, the capital city of Vietnam, is about 1880 km to the north from Can Tho. There are several ways to get there. However, only two means of transport are recommended for traveler’s safety, comfort and convenience.

*PLANE:

- There are direct flights departing at Noi Bai International Airport and arriving at Can Tho International Airport. It takes 2 hours and 10 minutes.

- Prices are around USD 64-222 based on the types of tickets (one-way or roundtrip), the ranking of seats (business class or economy class), time of booking, and the chosen airlines, etc. Travelers should access to the airline’s website to check for more detailed information.

* TRAIN:

- If you want a sight-seeing tour along the length of this nation, traveling by train is definitely a right option to go for. The railway of Vietnam, which is 1.730 km in length and goes through 21 provinces. The trip from Ha Noi to HCMC by train takes round 35 hours.

- To get to Ha Noi from Can Tho by train, travellers have to arrive in Sai Gon Railway Station, located at no.1, Nguyen Thong, District 3, HCMC. Therefore, travelers need to go to HCMC to get to the station.
