Buổi nghiệm thu được tiến hành nghiêm túc, khoa học với sự tham gia của Hội đồng nghiệm thu giáo trình cấp Trường, gồm các chuyên gia, nhà quản lý và giảng viên có nhiều kinh nghiệm trong lĩnh vực đào tạo và thực hành bệnh truyền nhiễm. Hội đồng do PGS.TS.BS. Nguyễn Minh Phương – Chủ tịch Hội đồng Trường Đại học Y Dược Cần Thơ làm Chủ tịch. Tham gia phản biện có BS.CKII. Trần Ngô Phúc Mỹ – Trưởng khoa Bệnh nhiệt đới, Bệnh viện Đa khoa Trung ương Cần Thơ và BS.CKII. Huỳnh Minh Trúc – Giám đốc Trung tâm Kiểm soát bệnh tật thành phố Cần Thơ. Ủy viên hội đồng gồm TS.BS. Nguyễn Thị Hải Yến – Trưởng Bộ môn Vi sinh – Ký sinh trùng và TS.BS. Trần Quang Khải – Phó Trưởng phòng Đào tạo Đại học, Giảng viên Bộ môn Nhi, làm thư ký. Ngoài ra, buổi nghiệm thu còn có sự hiện diện của đại diện Phòng Đào tạo Sau đại học và tập thể giảng viên Bộ môn Lao và Truyền nhiễm.

Tại buổi làm việc, đại diện Bộ môn Lao và Truyền nhiễm đã trình bày tóm tắt nội dung của giáo trình “Bệnh truyền nhiễm” tập 1 và tập 2, bao gồm cấu trúc, mục tiêu đào tạo, các nội dung chuyên môn cốt lõi cũng như những điểm cập nhật mới, phù hợp với chương trình đào tạo sau đại học hiện hành. Giáo trình được xây dựng theo hướng tiếp cận hiện đại, kết hợp chặt chẽ giữa lý thuyết và thực hành lâm sàng, chú trọng tính ứng dụng trong chẩn đoán, điều trị và phòng chống bệnh truyền nhiễm.

Các thành viên Hội đồng đã lần lượt đóng góp nhiều ý kiến nhận xét sâu sắc, tập trung vào tính khoa học, tính hệ thống, sự cập nhật kiến thức, cũng như khả năng áp dụng của giáo trình trong giảng dạy và thực hành chuyên môn. Nhiều ý kiến đánh giá cao công phu biên soạn, bố cục hợp lý và nội dung phù hợp với đối tượng học viên sau đại học chuyên ngành Truyền nhiễm và các bệnh nhiệt đới. Đồng thời, Hội đồng cũng đề xuất một số góp ý mang tính xây dựng nhằm hoàn thiện hơn nữa giáo trình trước khi đưa vào sử dụng chính thức.

Kết luận buổi nghiệm thu, Chủ tịch Hội đồng ghi nhận và đánh giá cao nỗ lực của Bộ môn Lao và Truyền nhiễm trong việc xây dựng giáo trình cấp Trường có chất lượng chuyên môn cao, đáp ứng yêu cầu đào tạo và thực tiễn công tác phòng chống bệnh truyền nhiễm. Hội đồng thống nhất thông qua giáo trình, đồng thời đề nghị nhóm biên soạn tiếp thu các ý kiến đóng góp để chỉnh sửa, hoàn thiện theo đúng quy định.

Việc nghiệm thu thành công giáo trình “Bệnh truyền nhiễm” tập 1 và tập 2 là dấu mốc quan trọng, góp phần nâng cao chất lượng đào tạo sau đại học của Trường Đại học Y Dược Cần Thơ, đồng thời khẳng định vai trò, uy tín chuyên môn của Bộ môn Lao và Truyền nhiễm trong công tác đào tạo, nghiên cứu và phục vụ cộng đồng.

 

The Department of Tuberculosis and Infectious Diseases Successfully Completed the Institutional-Level Acceptance of the Textbook Infectious Diseases, Volumes 1 and 2, for Postgraduate Students in Infectious Diseases and Tropical Diseases

On September 4, 2025, at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, the Office of Postgraduate Training, in collaboration with the Department of Tuberculosis and Infectious Diseases, organized the institutional-level acceptance meeting for the textbook “Infectious Diseases” Volume 1 and Volume 2, developed for postgraduate learners majoring in Infectious Diseases and Tropical Diseases. This activity plays an important role in standardizing and improving the quality of teaching materials, meeting the demand for high-quality healthcare human resources in the context of increasingly complex infectious disease challenges.

The acceptance meeting was conducted in a serious and scientific manner, with the participation of the Institutional Textbook Acceptance Council, comprising experienced experts, administrators, and lecturers in the field of infectious disease education and clinical practice. The Council was chaired by Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Minh Phuong, MD, PhD, Chairman of the University Council of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy. The reviewers included Dr. Tran Ngo Phuc My, MD (CKII), Head of the Department of Tropical Diseases, Can Tho Central General Hospital, and Dr. Huynh Minh Truc, MD (CKII), Director of the Can Tho Center for Disease Control. Council members also included Dr. Nguyen Thi Hai Yen, MD, PhD, Head of the Department of Microbiology and Parasitology, and Dr. Tran Quang Khai, MD, PhD, Deputy Head of the Office of Undergraduate Training and Lecturer of the Department of Pediatrics, who served as the Secretary of the Council. Representatives from the Office of Postgraduate Training and faculty members of the Department of Tuberculosis and Infectious Diseases were also in attendance.

During the meeting, the representative of the Department of Tuberculosis and Infectious Diseases presented a concise overview of the contents of the textbook “Infectious Diseases” Volumes 1 and 2, including its structure, training objectives, core professional contents, and updated knowledge aligned with the current postgraduate training curriculum. The textbooks were developed following a modern educational approach, closely integrating theoretical knowledge with clinical practice, and emphasizing practical applicability in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of infectious diseases.

Members of the Council provided in-depth and constructive comments, focusing on scientific rigor, systematic structure, up-to-date content, and the applicability of the textbooks in teaching and professional practice. Many reviewers highly appreciated the thorough preparation, logical organization, and relevance of the content to postgraduate learners specializing in Infectious Diseases and Tropical Diseases. At the same time, the Council proposed several constructive recommendations to further refine the textbooks prior to official implementation.

In concluding the meeting, the Chairman of the Council acknowledged and highly commended the efforts of the Department of Tuberculosis and Infectious Diseases in developing high-quality institutional-level textbooks that meet training requirements and practical needs in infectious disease prevention and control. The Council unanimously approved the textbooks and recommended that the editorial team incorporate the Council’s feedback to finalize the materials in accordance with regulations.

The successful acceptance of the textbook “Infectious Diseases” Volumes 1 and 2 marks an important milestone in enhancing the quality of postgraduate education at Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, while reaffirming the professional role and academic reputation of the Department of Tuberculosis and Infectious Diseases in education, research, and community service.
