Buổi khai giảng có sự hiện diện và chủ trì của ThS.BS. Nguyễn Ngọc Chi Lan - Phó Trưởng Khoa Y học cổ truyền, cùng sự tham gia đông đảo của gần 80 học viên là các bác sĩ, y sỹ, lương y, lương dược…tại Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu.
Trong bối cảnh Y học cổ truyền đang chuyển mình mạnh mẽ theo hướng chuẩn hóa, khoa học hóa và hội nhập, khóa học được tổ chức nhằm giúp học viên “ôn cố tri tân” – từ nền tảng lý luận kinh điển như Âm dương, Ngũ hành, Tạng tượng, Bát cương, Lục kinh..., học viên sẽ được dẫn dắt tiếp cận đến các nghiên cứu thực chứng, giúp diễn giải lại lý luận cổ truyền dưới lăng kính hiện đại, dễ ứng dụng và tăng độ tin cậy trong môi trường hành nghề hiện nay.
Với nội dung giảng dạy được biên soạn công phu, cân bằng giữa tính cổ điển - tính thực tiễn - tính khoa học. Học viên được củng cố tư duy chẩn trị theo biện chứng luận trị (biện bệnh - biện chứng), được so sánh - phân tích các bệnh lý thường gặp dưới góc nhìn lâm sàng hiện đại, từ đó lựa chọn bài thuốc, thủ pháp điều trị phù hợp với từng thể bệnh.
Nội dung đào tạo bám sát nguyên lý của Y học cổ truyền, tích hợp tư duy lâm sàng hiện đại nhằm đáp ứng nhu cầu khám chữa bệnh ngày càng cao và đa dạng, đặc biệt tại các tuyến cơ sở.
Thông qua việc kết hợp lý - pháp - phương - dược trong từng tình huống bệnh cụ thể, khóa học đồng thời giúp học viên tái cấu trúc tư duy chẩn đoán theo hướng có hệ thống, tự tin ứng dụng y thuật vào điều trị bệnh lý phổ biến tại cộng đồng và hiểu rõ giới hạn và tiềm năng của Y học cổ truyền khi được soi chiếu bởi khoa học hiện đại.
Khoa Y học cổ truyền – Trường Đại học Y Dược Cần Thơ luôn hướng tới việc chuẩn hóa kiến thức chuyên môn, giúp cho những người hành nghề Y học cổ truyền từng bước chuyển từ hành nghề dựa trên kinh nghiệm sang thực hành dựa trên lý luận và chứng cứ.
The opening ceremony was attended and chaired by MD.MSc. Nguyen Ngoc Chi Lan - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Traditional Medicine, with the enthusiastic participation of nearly 80 students, including physicians, assistant physicians, traditional medicine practitioners, and traditional pharmacists, from Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
In the context of Traditional Medicine (TM) undergoing a strong transformation towards standardization, scientification, and integration, this course was organized to help students "review the old to understand the new" (ôn cố tri tân). Starting from classical theoretical foundations such as Yin-Yang, Five Elements, Zang-Fu Organs, Eight Principles, and Six Channels, students will be guided to access empirical research, helping to reinterpret traditional theories through a modern lens, making them easier to apply and increasing their reliability in current professional practice.
The meticulously compiled curriculum balances classical, practical, and scientific aspects. Students will reinforce their diagnostic and treatment thinking according to Bian Zheng Lun Zhi (differentiation of disease and differentiation of syndromes) and will compare and analyze common pathologies from a modern clinical perspective, thereby selecting appropriate herbal formulas and treatment modalities for each syndrome type.
The training content adheres closely to the principles of Traditional Medicine, integrating modern clinical thinking to meet the increasingly high and diverse demands for medical examination and treatment, especially at the grassroots level.
By integrating theory, methods, formulas, and medicinals (lý - pháp - phương - dược) in specific clinical scenarios, the course simultaneously helps students restructure their diagnostic thinking in a systematic way, confidently apply medical art to treat common community illnesses, and clearly understand the limitations and potential of Traditional Medicine when illuminated by modern science.
The Faculty of Traditional Medicine – Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy consistently aims to standardize professional knowledge, helping Traditional Medicine practitioners gradually transition from experience-based practice to theory- and evidence-based practice.
