Buổi lễ có sự tham dự của đại diện Bộ Y tế, đại diện Ban Giám hiệu Trường Đại học Y Dược Cần Thơ, lãnh đạo các bệnh viện thực hành tại các tỉnh Đồng bằng sông Cửu Long, lãnh đạo các khoa, bộ môn cùng toàn thể các học viên Bác sĩ chuyên khoa cấp I khóa 9 được trao bằng tốt nghiệp.

Trong đợt tốt nghiệp lần này, có tổng cộng 29 học viên Bác sĩ chuyên khoa cấp I hoàn thành chương trình đào tạo. Trong đó, Bộ môn Lao và Truyền nhiễm – chuyên ngành Truyền nhiễm và các bệnh nhiệt đới có 03 học viên tốt nghiệp, với kết quả đáng khích lệ gồm 01 học viên đạt loại xuất sắc và 02 học viên đạt loại giỏi. Đây là minh chứng rõ nét cho chất lượng đào tạo chuyên môn cũng như sự nỗ lực không ngừng của giảng viên và học viên trong suốt quá trình học tập, rèn luyện.

Phát biểu tại buổi lễ, đại diện Trường Đại học Y Dược Cần Thơ nhấn mạnh vai trò và ý nghĩa nhân văn sâu sắc của dự án “Thí điểm bác sĩ trẻ tình nguyện về vùng khó khăn”. Dự án không chỉ góp phần đào tạo nguồn nhân lực y tế có trình độ chuyên môn cao mà còn hướng đến mục tiêu phục vụ cộng đồng, nâng cao chất lượng chăm sóc sức khỏe cho người dân tại các vùng sâu, vùng xa, vùng còn nhiều khó khăn về điều kiện kinh tế – xã hội.

Lễ trao bằng và bàn giao lần này không chỉ là dịp ghi nhận những thành quả học tập của các tân bác sĩ chuyên khoa cấp I mà còn là thời khắc đánh dấu sự chuyển giao trách nhiệm nghề nghiệp, khi các bác sĩ trẻ chính thức lên đường nhận nhiệm vụ tại các địa phương theo sự phân công của Bộ Y tế. Đây là bước khởi đầu quan trọng trong hành trình cống hiến của đội ngũ bác sĩ trẻ, góp phần thực hiện tốt công tác bảo vệ, chăm sóc và nâng cao sức khỏe nhân dân.

Thông qua chương trình đào tạo chuyên khoa cấp I gắn với dự án tình nguyện, Trường Đại học Y Dược Cần Thơ tiếp tục khẳng định vai trò là cơ sở đào tạo uy tín trong lĩnh vực y học tại khu vực Đồng bằng sông Cửu Long và cả nước. Nhà trường không ngừng đổi mới nội dung, phương pháp đào tạo, chú trọng kết hợp giữa lý thuyết và thực hành, nhằm giúp học viên vừa vững chuyên môn, vừa có tinh thần trách nhiệm cao đối với cộng đồng.

Lễ trao bằng và bàn giao Bác sĩ chuyên khoa cấp I khóa 9 là hoạt động ý nghĩa, thể hiện sự gắn kết giữa đào tạo, nghiên cứu khoa học và phục vụ xã hội. Qua đó, góp phần lan tỏa hình ảnh người thầy thuốc trẻ tận tâm, sẵn sàng dấn thân vì sức khỏe nhân dân, đúng với tinh thần “Lương y như từ mẫu” và sứ mệnh của ngành y tế trong giai đoạn hiện nay.

UNDER THE PROJECT “PILOT PROGRAM OF YOUNG VOLUNTEER DOCTORS SERVING IN DISADVANTAGED AREAS”

FOR THE SECOND CONSECUTIVE YEAR, THE DEPARTMENT OF TUBERCULOSIS AND INFECTIOUS DISEASES HAS SPECIALIST LEVEL I GRADUATES IN INFECTIOUS AND TROPICAL DISEASES

On January 31, 2026, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy solemnly held the Graduation and Handover Ceremony for Specialist Level I Physicians, Cohort 9, under the project “Pilot Program of Young Volunteer Doctors Serving in Disadvantaged Areas,” sponsored by Thien Tam Foundation – Vingroup. This meaningful event marked an important milestone in the professional development of the trainees after completing their training and their readiness to undertake healthcare missions in disadvantaged localities.

The ceremony was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Health, the Board of Rectors of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy, leaders of affiliated teaching hospitals in the Mekong Delta provinces, leaders of faculties and departments, and all Specialist Level I physicians of Cohort 9 who were awarded their certificates.

In this graduation period, a total of 29 Specialist Level I physicians successfully completed the training program. Among them, the Department of Tuberculosis and Infectious Diseases – majoring in Infectious Diseases and Tropical Diseases – had three graduates, including one achieving an excellent grade and two achieving very good grades. These results clearly demonstrate the high quality of professional training as well as the continuous efforts of both lecturers and trainees throughout the course of study and practice.

In his speech at the ceremony, a representative of Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy emphasized the significant humanitarian values of the project “Pilot Program of Young Volunteer Doctors Serving in Disadvantaged Areas.” The project not only contributes to the training of highly qualified medical professionals but also aims to serve the community by improving the quality of healthcare services for people in remote, underprivileged, and socioeconomically disadvantaged regions.

The graduation and handover ceremony was not only an occasion to recognize the academic achievements of the newly qualified Specialist Level I physicians but also marked the transition of professional responsibility, as the young doctors officially begin their assignments in localities designated by the Ministry of Health. This represents an important starting point in their journey of dedication and contribution to the protection, care, and promotion of public health.

Through the Specialist Level I training program associated with volunteer projects, Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy continues to affirm its role as a prestigious medical training institution in the Mekong Delta region and nationwide.
